Getting to Lightfall

The most direct way to travel to Lightfall is by car.

  • You must purchase a parking ticket along with your event ticket(s). Only one parking ticket needs to be booked per car, so we strongly encourage carpooling.
  • Entry is at Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne West Entrance: 1000 Ballarto Rd, (off Cranbourne – Frankston Rd)
  • The East Entrance off South Gippsland Highway, including all internal roads, will be closed with strictly no entry.

  • Your car or other GPS navigation may take you to the East entrance via South Gippsland Highway as it assumes you can drive to the West Entrance on our internal roads – this is incorrect and will not be possible to access the West entrance this way on the night.

  • We recommend using Google Maps and ensuring you are entering Ballarto Rd via Cranbourne-Frankston Rd when navigating to Lightfall.

Parking

  • There is no alternative parking for this event. Please ensure that you have purchased parking if you intend to travel by car. You will not be able to park your car if you have not pre-purchased parking.
  • On more popular dates, we have arranged overflow car parking which you may be directed to. If using the overflow car park, buses will transport you the short distance to and from the Lightfall entrance.
  • We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes prior to your session time to allow enough time to park and enter the event.

Is someone dropping you off?

  • There is a strict 1 minute drop off / pick up zone on site. This is located at the onsite carpark. Staff will direct cars, taxis and rideshare services to this zone.
